Soviet Union Subsidy: It pays to be idle in Obama's USA

Post by _bcspace »

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - Workers at LG Chem, a $300 million lithium-ion battery plant heavily funded by taxpayers, tell Target 8 that they have so little work to do that they spend hours playing cards and board games, reading magazines or watching movies.

They say it's been going on for months.

"There would be up to 40 of us that would just sit in there during the day," said former LG Chem employee Nicole Merryman, who said she quit in May.

"We were given assignments to go outside and clean; if we weren't cleaning outside, we were cleaning inside. If there was nothing for us to do, we would study in the cafeteria, or we would sit and play cards, sit and read magazines," said Merryman. "It's really sad that all these people are sitting there and doing nothing, and it's basically on taxpayer money."

Two current employees told Target 8 that the game-playing continues because, as much as they want to work, they still have nothing to do.

"There's a whole bunch of people, a whole bunch," filling their time with card games and board games," one of those current employees said.

That employee says some workers are doing odd jobs around the building, including cleaning and maintenance, while others hang out in the cafeteria playing video games, Texas hold-'em and Monopoly or doing Sudoku or crossword puzzles -- all on company time. The employee said some watch movies.

"There's no work, no work at all. Zero work," another current employee said. "It is what it is. What do you do when there's no work?"

What do you do when there is no work? In the Soviet Union, you would still draw a paycheck thus squandering wealth because there is no return for it. In the good ol' days when America was really America, this company would be allowed to fail and the free market economy would shift the resources and employees to something more productive. A perfect illustration this is, of why the Law of Consecration can't work in a socialist economy and it's surrounding doctrine mandates a free market economy.

Why not just give up the pose now, "Bob?"

Or are you just having too much fun?

lol. A perfect illustration of why the flood could not be global and its surrounding doctrine mandates a local flood -- except the doctrine is a Global flood, therefore the doctrine is false. The fact that your church doctrines fail in the face of reality doesn't mean your doctrines are something other than they are, it means they are false. And your church is false.

By the way, one reason why the LDS church is failing compared to the pentecostal movement is due to the Brethren's open rebellion against Say's law. In the Pentecostal movement, local leaders are entrepreneurs who build congregations based on supply and demand, and rise and fall as the market dictates.

In the Mormon Church, stodgy, Stalinist conservatives review data and make decisions about the market, and then make capital allocations according in a command fashion.

The brethren call a dope as a Bishop who all the members hate, but members will receive church discipline for going to another ward. The law of supply and demand is held hostage by these Mao-abiding zealots. Members march themselves to services with no enthusiasm and go through the motions uninspired. The ward becomes stagnant and a real bore, and while operations are a facade, the ward is not allowed to fail. The Church, like the USSR, manages wards as "soviets". Bishops and wards not working out are subsidized by central command in Salt Lake City, the Mormon Moscow.

And that, my friends, is why the Mormon Church is getting its ass handed by the Pentecostal movement.
