In the late 80's and thorough-out the 90's. I spent thousands on food storage, guns, ammo, survival gear etc. in anticipation of this day. Heck you sissies out there that never went through an end-of-the-world phase and did not have the inside sources to give the date's/places where never real orthodox Mormons!

I have basic storage for 20 people for two years and had extended (most rotted years back) for 10 people for 1 year … per church supplied "preparedness" manuals/documentation.

Be that as it may, I would be interested to hear from everyone, particularly our defenders of the faith who care to discuss this. This was something that I heard a lot about as a kid and then it kind of dwindled. I asked my husband if he had heard about it, and he said that his first recollection was not really until college. Assuming the quoted White Horse Prophecy is an actual quote from the Prophet Joseph Smith the current affairs of the country are definitely in a position for the fulfillment of it. IMTBMO

I may be hard to believe that we are to the point of the "constitution hanging by a thread" but I think the scenario of the boiling frog is applicable here.
