That was exactly my point 3 years back or so, when I chastised Dan for his continued reference to FARMS instead of honoring his benefactor (i.e. the church and MI)
It was no longer FARMS, but no one was letting go.

And this really concerned you, Rock? FARMS/MI is still used interchangeably.

sure, as much as any of this should concern you Ray. Dang man, you get so defensive.
FARMS/MI is still used interchangeably.
I disagree, only old timers like your self coming from the old boards keep this synonymous. Take some one new hitting the boards in the last year might well never make this connection. Of course the current direction of MI will even further distance these two.
Is that the best gripe you have against DCP?
No but I have no need to air my gripes. What I said here was an honest observation, not a gripe.
by the way, at the time, I used the example of the companies that I had been at which had changed ownership or company names. If employees continued to use the old names in public correspondences it would be an offence that could get one terminated. And here we had the Editor in Chief who continued the practice long after the change.
Reflecting back on all that has happened, I can see that Dan well may have resented the change and continued to try and dominate the scene, to such a point of insubordination that it ended up as it did.
Now sure, I have no idea of all that went down, or if the above is a load of crap, but being mostly an observer of this over the years … that's my impression.

Cutting to the chase: I'll see if I can talk Dan into send you an email, because I know this is where your whole anti-DCP obsession began. And it has gone on, and on, and on....

No need Ray, I'm actually in a really good place right now. My time of need has past.

Pending my dismissal from METI, I will insist that I continue to be compensated as a director in my role, which I will now have more time for, as its editor in chief.
What does this mean?
It looks to me like the complaint of a person who fears a reduction in his salary.
