Time and time again he slings personal insults at the members of this board. He can't make 3 posts without one containing personal attacks.

Why is this allowed to continue? He does it in Celestial, for crying out loud!

What the heck, even???

I get personally attacked all the time and no one gives a heck. Why should it be different for ldsfaqs? Because he defends the church?

The board is eroding because many people have left the building: liz, harmony, scottie, etc.

Any time there have been reports on ldsfaqs, they have been addressed. As has been stated before, the Mods can't read every thread in every forum. The only way Mods are assuredly aware of violations are through reports.

I will no longer be addressing reports, by the way...even though my Mod privileges are still intact until Shades returns to the board. I wouldn't want anyone to think I was taking advantage of my supposed Mod powers.

It will be interesting to see how many reports pile up.

When I see a post by ldsfaqs, I usually don't make it past the first sentence. I hope not to offend, but honestly I don't have the time. I need to go make pancakes right now!

I report them every time I see them. I am a tattletale!

I know he took a short leave once for his repeated abuses, but he has clearly not learned anything.

I wonder why his presence here is something Shades wants.

Hi Just me, as you know I am somewhat scared of you. However. In fairness to Shades, I don't think it's a question of who he wants here, it's more who turns up and doesn't break the rules. If ldsfaqs breaks the rules and it is reported, I would be surprised if he was allowed to escape censure except on the odd occasion where it gets missed. I could be wrong (as you have shown several times before!), but I hope I'm not.

Scared of me?! Noooo!

ldsfaqs is a flagrant repeat offender. He was banned once for 3 weeks and Shades shortened the length and brought him back early. He still pulls the same crap, though.

I guess I would just like to know what is so special about ldsfaqs that puts him above the rules. If anyone can find me another poster that brings out the personal insults with anything close to the regularity that ldsfaqs does I will reconsider my question.

It is a good question why I don't have him on ignore. I guess it's because I enjoy reporting his posts so much!

I think it's fine as it is. Ldsfaqs gets all the rope he needs to hang himself, and does so, often and thoroughly.

I'm glad the LDS church is "defended" by such as ldsfaqs. It just makes the church look bad by association, and I'm totally cool with that.

The board has major eruptions such as the recent thread about scratch, liz and pahoran. Too much abuse on the board and eventually it all flows out like a harsh volcano spewing its ash.

One must have a tough heart to be here and many Mormons have left the building. Too much abuse toward the defenders for them to stick around for a bashing. I see very little discussion on the threads...maybe between critics where kudos are given quite liberally. But toward defenders, I see no discussion just one liners and a bashing. No board can be successful with such posts.

The board is heading down hill fast and now with liz gone and harmony and scottie taking a long breather...it will only get worse.

I disagree. There are drama queens and people that just want to make noise like in this thread. If someone is willing to reasonably and intelligently discuss Mormonism, I'm more than happy to engage them. Those that only wish to launch personal attacks or can't act reasonably within a discussion I put on ignore. You can pretty well self-police the forum by doing that. All this stuff like this thread is just fluff.
