I did think of you, dear Ceeboo. The words from you and Hoops and Bret Ripley (did I miss anyone?) were encouraging and almost persuaded me to stay.

But in the end, I just didn't think camaraderie with a lot of really wonderful people was worth putting up with the abuse I was being subjected to, and had to pull the plug.

What I think:

1. All this deleting of accounts is really stupid.
2. All this bickering and pretense of hurt feelings is really stupid.
3. You all (and me too it seems) were made for each other. No need to separate or Balkanize as we are all fated to gravitate back to the same forum eventually.
4. If there are any Democrats abroad, they should stay abroad and never come back.

Let's get back to the real business of counting coup on each other!
