Pahoran's source isn't much of a secret...

Then, by all means, name it.

Actually, he turned out to be unreliable. In fact, for those of us who actually know something about both Chino Blanco and Scratch, the whole idea is utterly ludicrous. So, reliable? No. Not in the least on this point.

Like the unnamed source, I would want to remain completely under the radar too, if I were to forward such risible theories and encourage others to act on them.

I suppose you are right. Let me simply say that Pahoran's source had been known to me to be trustworthy and this person was not someone who normally did shoddy research.

Ah, so it was DCP? ........ Wait, scratch that. What was I thinking?

Isn't that when cadre known for the shoddiness of their research?

I've read through this thread, and others, and I'm still left wondering: who the hell cares who Scratch is in the real world?

I can guarantee no one cares in my office, or in the office next door, or even in the city down the road, or in the next state, or the capitol of the country or any other country around the world. And I seriously don't care.

And the other billion people in the world don't. Doesn't seem like it's that great a topic, to me.

Ya, well, the other billion people in the world don't care much for Mormonism, either, and yet we have a great multitude of carryings-ons about that topic around here, don't we?
