I wonder if two accounts is really a good idea. I guess if no one knew it would work, but that seems a little underhanded to me. Personally, I think if one wants to be a moderator, one should abandon any personal biases and just moderate.

Granted that I wasn't too fazed about it, much to Scratch's disappointment, but hey; a "Universal Rule" is supposed to apply unconditionally and all the time; isn't that what makes it "Universal?"

She posted in real life information that she thought was possibly that of Scratch, with the object of warning him not to tease her friend Pahoran.

That information, coupled with the fact that Scratch is a male person with LDS connections, made it possible for me or anyone else to home in on Jason Echols via Google with a high degree of probability.

Therefore what Liz posted would have amounted to a more or less complete outing of Scratch online. She has the intelligence to have realized this. She must find it as obvious as I do that being outed is exactly what Scratch does not want to happen, as well as that her behavior was directly contrary to a Universal Rule.

Like Scratch's was?

Keep in mind that the "Universal Rule" in question ultimately traces back to Scratch's own malicious delight in revealing in real life information about people he hates.

What is more, she claims as her friend someone who hates Scratch more than anyone else online and would love to out him - Daniel Peterson.

That is simply not true. It is Scratch who hates Dan; you have it exactly backwards, as usual. If the worthless Scratch were to give up his six-year-old campaign of harassment and defamation, Dan would (gratefully) forget about him.
