I have no "secret" relationship with DCP. I have always been very open about my friendship with him. I never betrayed any confidences with you, Infy...not to DCP...not to anyone. You deleted my Mod status without even talking to me about it, and it was based solely on who I chose to be friends with. I am friends with a lot of different people. Just because I am friends with DCP doesn't mean I agree with everything he says or does. It's too bad you didn't at least have the balls to talk to me about it, but whatever. That one was your loss.

I chose to remove you as mod because you chose to remain Mormon despite all the evidence against the Cult. In that regard, you no longer fit on a site dedicated to Ex-Mormonism.

In addition, you spent a great deal of time here being the messenger to DCP. DCP reads this board, you talk to him phone/email, you respond to messages with an "abridged" watered down version. You try to prop him up and make him out to be some kind of loving, kind, generous guy who is just really really misunderstood. damned BS. DCP is narcissistic and snide, and your version has caused many people on MDB to challenge DCP to appear, NOT your "abridged" version of DCP's words.

DCP in my opinion, is a class "A" asshole. He caused me to lose a potential job because he baited me with attacking emails - then posted those emails on the Internet. I had to threaten him and SHIELDS with a lawsuit if they didn't take them down. His sole job is to lie, deceive, attack, discredit and tear down those seeking answers or those being critical. He uses any personal identities or personal information to attack people - and you having that personal information and being close friends with him is the issue.

Whatever your relationship is with DCP makes me very uncomfortable. And anything personal said in Moderation conference - or with members of this board or my board - is solely personal - and I don't want any of it getting back to DCP. My trust with you just came to an end. And watching what is going on here with you, Scratch and DCP, I believe my decision was correct.

I have never betrayed a confidence and revealed information that someone told me in confidence to DCP. I thought that you knew me better than that, but whatever. I like you, and I would never reveal any information you gave me to DCP, or anyone else, unless you wanted me to. The same goes to the folks on your board. All I tried to do over there was make people feel comfortable, and make sure that things didn't get too heated on that one debate section, which is what you had asked me to do.

As far as letting me loose because I am a Church member...that's fine. It's a little confusing, though, because you knew I was a Church member when you asked me to be a Moderator there in the first place. The board was not super active, but, frankly, I didn't have a lot of time to commit to it. I wasn't really upset about not being a Mod, but I was hurt that you didn't have the courtesy to talk to me about it. I had to find out that I wasn't a Mod anymore by attempting to log in.

I can't control who you decide to trust, and who you don't decide to trust. I am sorry you feel that you can't trust me. Best wishes.

It is obvious to me that Scratch's attitudes and actions are the ones that are predominantly revered here.

Liz, for me all this brouhaha has nothing to do with Scratch or something he wrote about Pahoran; it has everything to do with you in your role as Mod. A Mod who uses any in real life information about a poster here (even just an alleged poster) is the 'kiss of death' for a bb that relies on strict anonymity. Once that trust has been compromised (including just the perception of compromise) that Mod must go ... immediately. Thus, I commend your willingness to step down as a Mod. My best wishes to you.

Scratch brought up Pahoran's divorce and THEN Liz countered with Democrats in Taiwan. All those who claim what Liz did was a violation, will have no choice but to admit that what Scratch did was clearly was a violation also.

Ms. Jack posted earlier to show where Pahoran mentioned his divorce--and of course, the information was NOT shared here--it was posted on MADB. Scratch posted in real life information. he got from MADB--a violation of Rule 7.

Universal Rule #7: Do not reveal personal or "in real life" information about any poster on this site that he or she has not explicitly revealed here.

The word "here" means Mormondiscussions and Pahoran did NOT share that information here, therefore Scratch took information from an outside source and revealed it here. Pahoran is a member here, so it clearly was a violation.

Liz has stepped down as a Moderator and while she revealed information that was from an outside source; From all who claim to know Scratch's identity, the information was not even about him, therefore, it was NOT an explicit violation since the person the information was about claims not to be a member here. No harm, no foul.

Liz is no longer a moderator because of this whole mess, so if you wanted her 'punished', I'd say you got your wish. But now the question is....What are you all going to do about Scratch? What will be done about his breaking Rule #7 in taunting Pahoran about his divorce?

Let me guess...you all will make excuses to rationalize what he did and NOTHING will be done.

Let's be honest. Why don't you all just throw out all the rules and let Scratch make 'em up as he goes along, especially now that Liz is out, there's no one to even bring up the rules.
