I'm glad the LDS church is "defended" by such as ldsfaqs. It just makes the church look bad by association, and I'm totally cool with that.

Totally agree.

We need more defenders of the faith like this one, who turn off more "investigators" and questioners than an army of Ed Deckers.

We already have them: FAIR, SHIELDS, MD&D, the Mormon Interpeter, and so on.

In mid-August, I spent a week in intensive care and nearly died. After that, I was and still am rebuilding my stamina so I can live a normal life again. Pardon me if I am taking a long breather from that which isn't as productive in my life as it could be. If I no longer have the inclination nor the energy to spend hours on this board, at least I won't be giving the really talented Drama Queens a bad name anymore.

Best wishes, and get better soon.

I cannot understand why, after untold hours providing a free service to a group of people you largely do not know, and for which you are under constant scrutiny and criticism, you don't want to continue providing said free service. :surprised:

(I too hope you are feeling better.)

It's always interesting to me how people who demonstrate bigotry and personally attack people in basically every post (such as this thread) cry when simply their ACTIONS are attacked.

I don't throw out the ad homeniems personally to you people like you all do such as this thread. If any of you had any actual character you could count in almost every post the personal attacks in this thread.
I don't "report" you for your immorality, for I let you hang yourself and I simply point your immorality out.

Have I never created a thread personally attacking anyone? Nope, but you create them of me and other Mormons.

Thing is, it doesn't matter how "nice" we are.... You attack Mormons the same, you personally attack the Prophet the same as me (what did he do to you?). You personally attack Daniel Peterson, what did he do to you?

Sure, you may like some Mormons "better" than others, but that's because they don't actually point our your sin, they are politically correct. But, I thought being politically correct wasn't a good thing in your minds??? And the wicked take the truth to be hard. Other Mormons simply have other interests than attacking evil. And other Mormons simply don't know evil like I do, and understand the SUFFERING the evil people like you all cause others. You are ABUSERS..... bullies, without love, charity in your elitism.

Further, I'm nice when I'm shown basic respect. I have many posts on this forum in which I've just answered the question or challenge, and I haven't said a single thing disrespectful, because disrespect wasn't shown, so I didn't have anything to attack.

See, what you people don't get, is I'm a mirror of YOUR OWN behavior, for I shine YOUR OWN behavior back onto you. I don't ignore when bullies are picking on others in real life, and I don't do it on forums either. Sorry, but it is your people with the problem, not I. I simply attack the wrong. You do not do wrong, it/you are not attacked. It's really as simple as that. Those who personally know me, know I'm the kindest and fullest of heart kind of guy.

Oh harmony! so sorry to hear this. Please take care of yourself and give not a moment's thought to this board.
