Did DCP deny being paid for apologetics?

I was reading rockslider's copy of DCP's blog that was taken down. From the comments section, Bob Jones says:

In any case, your posts confuse me as your ‘stalker’ is merely stating that you were compensated to edit the FARMS review. You, yourself, made this abundantly clear in your letter to Dr. Bradford.

DCP responds:

I was, in the last several years of the Review‘s existence, paid a token per-issue fee for editing the Review. Nothing anywhere near the amount that the Stalker suggests. I would guess that it would probably, if apportioned on a per-hour basis, come to something like the U.S. federal minimum wage. . . . In this specific case, his claim about how much I was paid is vastly too high. But the list of falsehoods, half-truths, and distortions he’s dished out about me over the past six years is far, far longer than just this instance.

My memory may be off, but I thought DCP continually denied being paid anything beyond his BYU salary for apologetics. And I don't remember Scratch ever putting a number on how much DCP was paid, or that it was "lavish", just that he was paid something. Again, I could be off. I'm sure some of you have the quotes handy to show whether DCP is being accurate here, or if others could chime in with their recollection. Thanks.

If I recall correctly he did state that he didn't receive any income for his apologetic work. I'm sure someone has the actual quote, but it was posted on the thread discussing his removal as editor.

The issue here, as it seems to me, is that Daniel Peterson understandably never laid out what the situation was. He was trying to quash the idea that the LDS Church was paying him a handsome sum to do apologetics. No doubt that is true. That does not mean that the LDS Church provided no material support to him in his apologetic efforts. Some of that support he would have gladly done without, namely, the incorporation of FARMS within BYU.

The bottom line here is that he is no Newt Gingrich.

I don't believe Dan ever denied being paid to do apologetics. He just insisted that the amount he was paid was negligible.

That the University tolerates my apologetic efforts is true, and somewhat surprising, and I'm happy with that. It has never encouraged me, though, let alone obliged me, me to do them. So, I don't think Mormon apologia is beneath academics. In fact, apologia is a legitimate academic field. I believe at some point Dr. Peterson's CV finally came to light, and the majority of it consisted of Mormon apologia. So, clearly it's an academic venture funded by the Mormon church.

That doesn't follow at all. It's a non sequitur.

Just do search of "dime" as the keyword, and *peterson. You'll find many, many posts where he denies making "not one dime" off of apologia.

Yeah, he was weasel wording his way around the issue, but then I brought up the issue of his CV. He then diverted the issue by questioning how much "weight" I give his apologia vice his regular work listed on the CV. It was nonsense. He lied. He was busted. He never 'fessed up.
