I about had a heart attack last night watching the LSU tigers nearly beat my Alma Mater. Don't know if I can handle that kind of stress at my age anymore. A Romney upset on Tuesday just might do me in.
I'm torn as a Redskin fan. Being one of the worst teams of the past decade, wins don't come by often. But the stakes are high enough that I'll be rooting for Carolina today.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
The Redskins lost their last home game before the election, Carolina 21, Washington 13. There may be hope in this country yet.

After 6 win or go home games in the playoffs and a World Series sweep, the Giants have left me a little bit limp.
As far as the Niners go, Alex Smith has been in the league 7 years and I still can't figure him out. Not as bipolar a QB as Phil Rivers, but you never know who's going to show up each week.
As far as 'Bama goes Kevin, there's more than a little irony knowing you're rooting for team of Red Elephants. But damn, they are a good football team.
Stanford has a great quarterback, but unfortunately he's playing for the Indianapolis Colts.

They'd never be able to do that successfully in the SEC. We saw that in the BCS championship two years ago against Auburn.
Yet I see the score was tied 19-19 until 2 seconds left.
Without even knowing what Oregon's record and rankings had been, a team I picked to watch and emulate (fishduck.com) because I am involved with youth sports happened to be the #2 team, who came within a hair of 1st, in the BCS a couple of years ago. Not too shabby.
