HUFFINGTON POST wrote:According to a 21-nation poll conducted by GlobeScan/PIPA for the BBC World Service, an average of 50 percent of people surveyed abroad favor Obama. Only 9 percent of those polled prefer Romney, and in 20 out of 21 countries voters would chose Obama.
GlobeScan Director of Global Insights Sam Mountford explains:
While the presidential race in America looks like it's going down to the wire, global public opinion appears to be firmly behind Barack Obama’s re-election — even if two in five express no preference between the two candidates. According to the survey, two-thirds of Canadians would vote for Obama instead of Romney, a percentage consistent with a recent Angus Reid survey that indicated 72 percent of Canadians favor the current president over his Republican challenger.

and we care why? the day we start picking our leaders for their popularity around the world is the day we look to movie sales and billboard top 100 charts for candidates...besides, they like Obama because he is easily "played" by them....why would they be interested in a candidate like Romney who will return America to being superior to themselves? who will not let them walk all over our country? etc...
talk about desperate...the old "the Phillipines likes Obama so you should too!" argument? geez

I don't understand the 'desperate' comment. I'm not suggesting that you should vote for Romney because he's well liked in China and Pakistan.

Most of the rest of the world are socialist appeasers and Islamic. That should tell you right there Romney needs to be elected here. China is interesting. Perhaps a good omen for Romney in northern Virginia.
Of course China is Romney country. He's given them a lot of business. :-)
Speaking of those who won't be voting today, consider also the fact that Obama is a large favorite among Americans who are not registered or don't plan to vote.
The more Americans who vote, the bigger his margin of victory, so the republican vote suppression efforts make a lot of sense, even though it's immoral.

Romney's done nothing to encourage business to go to China. Left wing policies have certainly driven business overseas and nations like China who embrace the market have become very attractive to such.

Republican efforts are merely against Democratic voter fraud and making sure marked ballots pass through as few hands as possible to reduce the chance for fraud.
1. The United States (Democrats and Republicans alike) are much more conservative politically and culturally than other countries.
2. People in those countries have seen four years of Obama. They know next to nothing about Romney.

The rest of the world sees what America has, and they think Obama is the most likely to give them the most of it.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
If Obama is pissing off the Chinese enough they're voting for the other guy...isn't that a good thing?
