It was necessary for the world to experience the 1960's.
Similarly, it is necessary for couples to experience that decade as well, despite their current age. Some couples might live in the 60's for the remainder of their days, and that's OKAY.
Unfortunately, the LDS leadership has a history of pushing couples back into the 1950's.

With their marriages struggling, two women from the same church said Arturo Tenorio came highly recommended as a counselor by their LDS bishop.

I believe the LDS church supports spanking in all its forms. Clearly.
