Or maybe scientific names? Wouldn't that be best suited for the "no creator"?

"Winter Storm Bernoulli"
"Winter Storm Darwin"
"Winter Storm Mary Anning"
"Winter Storm John Dalton"
"Winter Storm Erosion"
"Winter Storm Sedimentation"
"Winter Storm Evolution"
"Winter Storm Advection"

Or we could keep it simple and just name them all "Winter Storm Reason."

'Winter Storm Random gases from other random gases' is bit of a mouthful.

How about:

"Winter Storm You Had Better Learn to Live With Because It Looks Like There Will Be a Lot More Like Me Coming, And You People Might Like To Start Asking Yourselves Whether Burning All That Coal And Oil Might Have Had Something To Do With It, Because If It Did You Would Surely Want To Start Doing Something About It, Wouldn't You"?

Just trying it out.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

The trouble one runs into with naming storms after gods is that you pretty quickly run out of names.

The best ones that come to mind are:

Thor
Odin
Poseidon (especially descriptive)
Kali
Vishnu ""Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."
Perses
Mars
Loki

The trouble with using day to day names is that they don't always convey the nastiness of most 'named' storms... Sandy?
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

For some hints, see my comment, quoting “Where is the graveyard of dead gods?”

- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei
