A man who feels that murdering 77 people is a 'courageous' political statement will not suffer a lack of moisturizer in silence. What a guy.

But for those who consider the death penalty as a deterrent, consider that Norway's murder rate is .6 per 100,000. The United States' rate is 4.2, seven times higher.

Obviously there are demographic and economic factors, but countries like India, Niger, Albania and Cambodia have lower rates than the U.S.

Liberals are traditionally opposed to capital punishment, long prison terms, three strikes laws, etc. etc. Norway, (my mother is from there, I have contacts there), is very liberal. Hence your question was very well answered.

Socialism is a proven murderer, poverty maker, and general misery generator. Those kids were at camp on Utoya island sponsored by The Workers' Youth League (AUF). According to Wiki regarding the AUF:

Norway does have a vastly superior rehabilitation rate along with significantly lower crime rates across the board. The state of their prison system might have something to do with that.

His prison sentence is 21 years followed by indefinite commitment as long as he's deemed a danger to society.
