Considering that many of those 47% "takers" are senior citizens on SSI and Medicare who probably voted for Romney...no it's not quite that simple. What is simple is that white people are shrinking as a percentage of the population and if the Republicans continue to antagonize minorities they're going to lose minority voters 80-20 every time.

Romney dug his own grave with his own actions:

1. Flip-flopping on virtually every issue known to man
2. Refusing to disclose his tax returns
3. Attacking half the American people by calling them lazy moochers
4. Setting the bar for lying at an all time low

etc...

So his own words and actions proved he was just a narcissistic, elitist jackass that didn't connect with the working class in America. Democrats had to do nothing extra to make that perception known. He reminded so many people of the asshole who once fired them.

But it is fun watching the Right Wingers make up every excuse under the sun. The more they remain in denial, they better it is for the Democrats because it means they have no way of forming a solution when they don't even understand what the problem is. Let them stay in their FOX News bubble, I say.
