To put it more positively: the times when a board like this is most interesting is when there is a really good example of, shall we say, 'unusual' behavior associated with the CoJCoLDS, either collectively or because of the actions or statements of members who are in some way prominent or particularly vocal.

If all that church members ever did was to give away 10% of their gross salary to an unaccountable corporation, give up three hours of time every Sunday, and sometimes go to a cinema that always shows the same film to people dressed up in funny hats and white suits, and apart from that never bothered anybody much, why would one bother discussing them at any length?
Zadok:
I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis.
Maksutov:
That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

I guess we're just waiting for the Anti-Mormon moment to begin. Then this place will be hopping again.

Or Jon Huntsman's 2016 Jack Mormon Moment, but that means 2-3 years of boredom in front of us. God help us all.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
