Even republicans don't like Romney's sour grapes

Post by _beastie »

Two Republican governors shot down Mitt Romney’s comments about the “gifts” President Obama gave key constituencies to ensure their votes.
Those remarks were “absolutely wrong. We have got to stop dividing American voters,” Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal said Wednesday at a news conference at while attending the Republican Governors Association Conference in Las Vegas. “I absolutely reject that notion, that description. . . . We’re fighting for 100 percent of the vote.

“That’s not who we are as a party,” Jindal added. ”We shouldn’t view individuals as members of interest groups.”
Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.) chimed in, saying the GOP isn’t “just for people who are currently not dependent on the government… It’s for all Americans,” and is the party “that helps people find a pathway to live the American Dream.”

Kelly Ayotte also distanced herself from Romney's comments. As did a GOP latino advisor to other campaigns.

GOP strategist Ana Navarro, an advisor on Latino issues for the John McCain and Jon Huntsman presidential campaigns, blasted Romney in a series of tweets for portraying Hispanics as looking for a government handout.

Someone needs to tell Romney to shut up.

I don't think it matters. Very soon he will be lying on the beach in La Jolla, playing with his car elevator and unable to get anyone to show up to a press conference.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I love Bobby Jindal. Scott Walker should move to another state.

Scott Walker makes Mitt Romney look like William F. Buckley.

2 governors and an, arguably not competent, advisor...wow! really supports the broad claim of "even republicans".

so when 5 of the 157 delegates from NC did not endorse Obama at the convention we should have posted "even democrats don't want to nominate Obama"

This is all really moot, as the Republican party has now rendered itself irrelevant to the conservative movement and to the struggle for constitutional, limited government.

A party that has, in as many years, delivered itself into the jaws of abject defeat time and time again, against opponents who should have been raw meat waiting to be cooked and served, has no credibility in assessing their last epic fail against an incumbent who had no record whatsoever to run on and a history of both feckless incompetence and a very disturbing ideological core.

Is Billy Ayers in touch with the country, Eric? How about Carol Browner? How about Valerie Jarrett? How about Van Jones? How about Eric "the panther" Holder? Was Saul Alinsky "in touch" with America, Eric?

So now he's "Billy" Ayers, eh?

Do conservatives/republicans/reactionaries still assert Ayers is President Obama's ghostwriter?
