Job and his friends are all under the impression that good works are what make one perfect. God clearly tells Job that he doesn't understand everything and tells his friends that they are all wet. God does give Job more children and wealth. Your problem is that you see this existance as all that there is. Those that love the LORD have an eternity of joy. Life is not fair. Get over it.
