Zee,

If you're some kind of fashion designer and have female models hanging on your arm and worhipping you, you have all my envy. Aside from that, my input is to get a manly sewing machine and upholster seats and dashboards of classic and exotic cars. If it were practical, I'd love to try my hand at something like that.

That would be fun, Gadianton. My wife is the upholstery pro. I am only good for helping her remove staples. While we do have an industrial sewing machine to get the thick stuff, it really is not on my radar at the moment. Right now, things that sparkle are.

Actually, I got sidetracked on a watercolors project because it is raining today.

I would love to be a fashion designer but I have a fulltime job and kids. All I can do is dream and dabble.

Those are fabulous, Blixa.

I just bought the skirt at a thrift store. Pink and short! I have the sequins. It's time to get workin'!

Zee,

A little off topic, but I need your good fashion sense. I just bought a light yellow dress shirt and will be wearing it with black or dark blue slacks tomorrow. What color tie would you recommend? I can't for the life of me figure out what color is appropriate (by the way, I have pretty much every kind and color of tie imaginable).

Since, I'm on this topic. What tie would you recommend with a light green dress shirt and gray or brown slacks?

Finally, what tie with a brown dress shirt and olive green slacks?

Thanks, Zee

Everybody Wang Chung,

I'm flattered that you asked me! I am not a conservative minded color coordinator. Your 2nd choice colors sound pretty muted and dark so I suggest bright. Solid Yellow tie! Do you have one?

For the third option, do you have a blazer?
