If You Suddenly Won A Billion Dollars, What Would You Do?
I would obviously pay 100 million in tithing. Then I would move next door to Camilla Belle.
How about you?
How about you?

After my recovery from shock I would do the following:
*Buy a house
*Finish college
*College funds for my 3 children
*Buy 2 new vehicles
*Pay off my folks home
*College funds for all my nieces and nephews
*Travel
*Invest
*Either start a charity or find one I want to support
Then spend the rest of my life giving and living a full and joyful life.

Much like just me...
*Quit my job and move
*Buy a house and property in Utah (big enough for several friends to live with me/stay with me)
*College funds for nieces and nephews (or in case of those finished, a similar amount of $ to help them in their chosen field)
*New vehicle (something for off road driving as well as around town)
*Decent camera equipment and darkroom for film work
*Donate to mostly educational charities and universities
*Travel
*Invest

Not pay tithing with it.

Try and figure out how not to screw up my life and my families lives with it. That much money would bring a lot of unhappiness.
I'd settle for a couple million in unmarked bills.

Sleep in.
Buy a beach house in Lanikai.
Buy a boat to go with the beach house.
Build an art studio in Lanikai.
Move to Lanikai.
Keep enough to live and for my daughter to inherit.
Establish a charity/trust to give the rest away.

Honestly? I'd support a lot more charity. To the outside world my life wouldn't look any different. On reflection, I guess my life is pretty good.

I'd fix up my old Jeep, pay off my bills and have a nice dinner with what was left over.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I would spend some time cultivating the mindset that management of that asset is now my full-time job.
And then I would go to work.
And then I would go to work.

Re: If You Suddenly Won A Billion Dollars, What Would You Do
Just re-thought this. With a billion dollars, I'd resurrect a childhood ambition that I've only recently given up.
I'd buy a sailboat and sail around the world, touching the coast of every continent, breaching the water of every sea. I'd meet eager maidens, brown and fair; fight viscous enemies, great and small. In the end, sunburned and dying of thirst, my boat would capsize and I'd be consumed by the giant, grey octopus that lives off the footprint atoll of Diego Garcia.
