At the sime time, all of the Telestial folks in California will be burnt to a crisp, causing the market there to plumet. When that happens, I'll make my move.

You might not want to wait for that. Home prices are starting to rise again in So. Cal. Especially anywhere near the coast. At the moment it's a seller's market. A lot more people looking to buy than there are homes for sale.
