Pump you up music
When you are getting ready to do something that requires concentration, what do you listen to for inspiration?
I'm getting ready to present a webinar and am finding good 'ol Lily Allen is pumping me up for this.

If I'm working on something, I usually listen to
Sigur Ros
If I'm driving at night I might listen to Crystal Castles
And sometimes, just sometimes, I even listen to me.

The blues.
Turn up the sound and listen all the way through--you'll be better for it.
edit: Clapton's giving the concert of a lifetime in New York in April. I’m still trying to figure out some way...

I'm not a musician. Can't play a thing (spoons, maybe). It is amazing, though when you hear a great musician, you can often tell who is playing. For me, that's the case with Clapton. I hear a snipped of a riff and think "Hmmm. Sounds like Eric".

Just had to tell you that I listened to "me" all the way through. By me I assume no band as the drum track sort of gives that away. But hey. Way to put it out there.

Yeah, Hendrix is another artist with a singular sound. No one else sounds like that. Can you imagine what heights he would have reached if only he had lived?
