Sounds like wise advice.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

St. Mary's. Now gone as you know. And last I saw, the home that was built using the turret in the foreground was in sad disrepair and up for sale. I hope someone bought it and restores it.
Heber C. Kimball's house on the shore of the GLS. You can see black rock in the distance. I never saw these ruins personally, in fact I don't think the area is still there---isn't it covered by road now?

Not sure how long it remained for me to remember the ruins. I didn't know Heber C. Kimball once lived there. Did Helen Marr live there as well or was this just a dwelling for surplus wives? Wasn't it in this general area that the Plates of Kolob were discovered in the documentary, Plan 10 from Outer Space?

Here's another view from the LIFE archives...I think the highway expanded over the area, right?

Being long and deeply fond of Rivera and fond of this particular mural I hope to hear if it survived. Does it now only exist only in reproduction?
The flowers presented by Quasimodo are another favorite for me.

It still exists! Its in a Museum dedicated to Rivera murals, if memory serves. It was so great to get a chance to see it in situ, though.

Blixa, I am sure you enjoy your memory. I keep a visit to Mexico city as a hoped for adventure. I am glad to hear the mural was preserved. Of course Rivera is respected enough that people would want to do that.
