I'm glad you enjoyed it, palerobber. Re: Bott--I agree that it was a newsworthy event, though I don't know that I view as being fundamentally "Mopologetic" in character. Oh, well. These lists are always subjective.

Makes ya wonder if he's going all James Bond on us...

(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Here's the part that grabbed me the most:
Huh? Millions of dollars to the apologetic goals of MI? They've been claiming for decades that the anti-Mormons are in it to make money; now we know who really has been raking in the dough.
Just how much money does Mopologetics require, anyway?

Oh, I very much doubt that Scratch's conflicts with Liz would lead him to wish that her illness should get worse. After all, you really don't like Scratch at all, but do you wish him any harm health-wise? And yet you certainly don't claim to be a good guy, do you?
And keep safe on the roads, Ray. I do mean that, however irritating I sometimes find you.

That is pretty amazing.
I know a little something about a few of these counter-cult or apologetics Christian ministries and what they see in donations. It is nowhere near "millions."

I thought apologetics was a hobby for these guys? Didn't DCP maintain for years that he wasn't paid for his apologetics? So... where did this millions of dollars go?

Well in his notorious "I quit" email that was one of his big threats that he would no longer wine/dine potential donors.
I assume that for the real MI income exceeding budget went upwards.
