This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Uh. thanks. ???
But yes women come in all shapes and sizes, and are all wonderful.
'cept those pre-pubescent boy ones...

Not to say that it is bad....... It is just my personal preference.

I apologize profusely. From my interactions with you, I know you are a wonderful person, and I am an insensitive lout.

Re: The Woman
I hate the concept of 'the ideal' when it comes to body shape because it implies judgment and a standard when it comes to appearance. We all have preference, perhaps, when it comes to what is personally attractive, but that doesn't mean that any other is less attractive.
Having either met or seen pictures of a few of the women (and men) here, I can honestly say that you are all wonderful, no matter your shape.
About a year or so ago, this guy who I barely ever talk to at work walked up to me as I was walking down the hall and pointed to my gut and said, "Wow, you are getting fat." And then he walked away. It's true. I was getting fat. And I *knew* it. I was hurt, embarrassed, and just wanted to die. Not because of my body shape, but because of all things I am, that was the thing this guy used to judge me.
After that, I realized that judging someone because of appearance can hurt. My oldest son is a slim guy, and I even though I would kill for his body, I know that he hates the fact that he has the figure of a long-distance runner instead of a muscular 19 year old.
You just never know how self-conscious people are. Best to get beyond appearance as soon as possible in a relationship.

Re: The Woman
I am confused. How did my statement that I prefer the Marilyn Monroe body type to the ultra skinny fashion model types, a type which I feel is an unhealthy ideal promoted by the fashion industry, turn into a personal attack on Just Me? An individual that I hold in the highest esteem.
Anyways, again I am sorry for my faux pas.
