Jabari Parker chooses Duke

Would have been a great pickup for BYU, but it was a good choice for Parker. You can't go wrong with Coach K.

At Duke he can be Jabari and at BYU he would have been "the other".

Good choice on Mr. Parker's part. He would have been a God at the Y, but he has mad skills and Duke gives him more visibility. If he keeps playing the way he does, he will be an NBA superstar in a few years. I hope he is not going on a mission.

I recall another blue chip Mormon recruit a few years ago who chose Duke over BYU. He supposedly had all the credentials to be a big NBA star. He ended up transferring to Utah and was a bust there, too. Who even remembers his name? A big school isn't always the best choice. A talented player will stand out wherever he plays.
