You might want to ponder this for a while. If you believe that energy can't be created but refashioned it is here. If you want to see eternal power in God before the creation it is here. If you see the invisible things of God while looking at the physical universe it is here. If you can't see these things then it states you are without excuse. What do you believe?

Where you see a picture of stuff I see the power behind the creation. Where you limit causation to this universe I look beyond to the unseen powers of the spiritual realm. There are many that are happy with only seeing with their eyes.
When you walk into a movie theater and watch a movie you can be affected by the story. Knowing it is but flashing images and a sound track we can share emotions and be taken places beyond the stars. But many of these same people can look about them self and not see beyond their own eyes. Where they allow a movie to expand their mind and transport them to an alternate reality they will not allow the real universe to do the same. Where they embrace fictitious characters and allow them to draw them into stories of fantasy, those same people will refuse to be drawn into a real creation with real beings. Where they see beyond the screen into plots and depth of characters those same people only see the surface of the creation. They refuse to see the underlying power and live beings.

That is a measure of magnification. Can you see the power that made the air molecules? That is not a matter of magnification.
I do not need to see the air to know about air and to see the effects of the air. In a similar way I don't need to see God to know about God and see the effects of God.

Franktalk, the point I made had only to do with your interpretation of Mormon terms as refering to entities that exist outside of space and time in a "spiritual" dimension. My point was that Mormonism has rarely if ever interpreted "spirit" and "intelligence" as "non-physical." This is an important observation because you blamed Dr. W for interpreting non-physical entities as physical, and then dismissing them because he assumes non-physical entities don't exist. But you were wrong, because it's the leaders of the Church, including Joseph Smith, who interpret spirits as actual physical entities.
What possibilities I'm open to is a separate discussion. Right now we're discussing how to categorize a spirit in the first place. If you're going to hold them as non-physical, fine, but then I'll have to have two discussions, one with you and one with Tobin, since you're making two totally different claims.

Can we not go down this rabbit hole?
Your brain has interpreted signals from your eyes. This whole system we call sight is an indirect image production leading to a spatial interpretation of reality in our mind.
Thus you have never seen a thing unless you count indirect processes. Air is just more indirect.
