~Those who benefit from the status quo always attribute inequities to the choices of the underdog.~Ann Crittenden ~The Goddess is not separate from the world-She is the world and all things in it.~
I am not saying that. The discussion, as I see it, is about references to some kind of sacrifice yet to come. It was raised in the context of remarks supposedly made by Mormons in the past. Surely we are discussing it from the perspective of the claimed point of view of Mormonism which would claim it is a Christian perspective. It is in this context that I am trying to understand what it is about. Introducing the Torah. and what presumably Jews believe, has not point to the discussion at this stage. That is the only point I am making.

I didn't mention the Torah. I said it was to prophesied to be fulfilled at a time in the future, much as the millenium is prophesied to happen. When you see such things happen, then you'll know it was fulfilled. It hasn't yet so your question is pointless. It is something the Lord has said will be done.

Why Me hasn't posted in this thread.

However, Mormons do not practice animal sacrifice now and such an offering will only be done when God returns and requires such a thing.
Agreed. But is not the "offering" from the sons of Levi more akin to the offering as mentioned in D&C 128:24 ?
Interestingly enough, though Joseph taught a literal view of the animal sacrifice, it cannot be honestly considered out of context - that Joseph was teaching this in adherence with a Restorationist theology. And though this teaching may be unpalatable to modern tastes, it is not a contrary Doctrine.
"It may be asked by some, what necessity for sacrifice, since the Great Sacrifice was offered? In answer to which, if repentance, baptism, and faith existed prior to the days of Christ, what necessity for them since that time? The Priesthood has descended in a regular line from father to son, through their succeeding generations."
I honestly think Mittens cuts and pastes psychotic and mostly incoherent ramblings from bitter former Mormons merely as an excuse to post a link to some Gospel video that she is convinced is inherent to a most proper salvation.

I think Mittens posts in order to get Mormons to revisit these ideas/issues and perhaps look at them anew. That she is successful is evident by the presence of Mormons such as yourselves.

you confuse the topic of Mittens' posts with the content. What is evident is that the topic is incidental to Mittens' posts...therefore there is actually no "success" beyond just being able to start a thread.
