You believe Jesus is real because that's what has been pushed by Rome for 2 milennia.

Did Rome get their Church?

Do you believe God is a man with a long white beard?

I didn't make any of those assertions. However, I did notice you didn't answer my question. Do you believe men really walked on the moon?

You joined the conversation but don't want to answer. I did notice you don't want to engage in the conversation you joined, but rather want to ask me why I haven't answered a question that has nothing to do with the conversation.

hmmmm. You're a manipulative devil aren't cha.

I didn't make any assertion about men on the moon but you want me to answer your question and you won't answer mine.

hmmm, so that's how conversations with you roll.
That's generally a specific mind game and I don't enjoy engaging with types who play them. Before I disengage with your manipulation let me ask you a question... in alignment with your specific type of topic...

Do you believe that quakers live on the moon?

Actually, it isn't a very difficult question for someone of your caliber and clear mental acuity. Here, I'll answer my own question. I believe men actually walked on the moon. See - now that wasn't very hard. It isn't like I'm asking you something difficult like to pick the winner of a one-horse race.

So, do you believe men really walked on the moon?

lol

It's not very hard for someone with the mental manipulative skills like yourself to answer. Here, I'll answer my own question.
No, I do NOT think there are quakers on the moon.
There, was the question that hard?

No, I do not believe that God is a man with a long white beard.

Equally easy.

Games are fun for you, yes?

A bit of a waste of my time I might say, as I kinda outgrew it around age 15.

lol.

Now, if you want to have an upfront conversation I will engage you, but if you want to play mindF* games with me..... no.

Mittens, how far do I have to get into Genesis before god uses the word "us"?

Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

Genesis chapter 1 and chapter 11 use US when refering to persons yet God is singular which teaches the Trinity, ONE GOD three separate and distinct persons.
Justice = Getting what you deserve
Mercy = Not getting what you deserve
Grace = Getting what you can never deserve

Thank you Joan. Your reaction and unwillingness to answer my simple question reinforces my view of your "informed" assertions.

Your reaction quickly showed me that you are a mind manipulator by your inability to follow a conversation. I don't engage with mindf*ers of your caliber.
You showed me very quickly that you are incapable of having a normal conversation without manipulating it to your own agenda. Thank YOU Tobin; it saves me time in the future.

Right, now where in the Bible is that concept? See we can dance in circles all day.

How does persons become singular?

Psalms 82:1 judgeth among the gods (elohim) plural.

Turtle - Turtle
It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener at war.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one

That's the most common Bible verse given for support of the Trinity, I believe.

According to the Bible my wife and I are "one".

Mittens, just a suggestion, if you want to go after points of Mormon doctrine chasing after:
-Polygamy
-Polytheism
-& Seeing the face of god and living
will get you no where as the Bible is self contrary on 2 of those and suports 1.

Try polyandry, or some other obvious vector.
