The University of Leicester team described their find as "truly astonishing".

The body of the three Nephites, slain at the battle near Zarahemla, has been found buried deep beneath a car park, scientists confirmed today.

Archaeologists said DNA testing proved "beyond reasonable doubt" that the skeletons was that of the Nephites.

Richard Taylor, the university's deputy registrar, said: "Today we bear witness to history."

Teams of experts carried out radio carbon dating, DNA tests and CAT scans and compared notes with experts in weapons and trauma, lifestyle and diet before announcing their findings today.

I've misread some words, and misunderstand others.

It is not "three", it is "third". For Hungarians, it is a hard task to understand any English text.

It is not "nephite", it is "Richard". I've spoofed by the non-utahn accent.

Especially to a Hungarian.

--- we write the number of kings, popes - and other countables - before the name (for example Pope Benedict XVI is "XVI. Benedek pápa" for us)
--- we write the dates in year/month/day sequence
--- we pronounce the letters always the same way - we have no fill/find/first type beauties as English speakers have (by the way we can not hold spelling contest for high-school students... and I am sorry to say, we call that type of school as middle)
--- we write the family name first - so the names in telephone books are more readable
--- I admit, our naming convention has some negative side effect: no Hungarian can become General Authority, as we haven't middle name/initial

You know, the bad Martian habits...
