I have some pretty interesting updates. It is all public stuff. I will just post what is in the public file without commentary. I'm sure it would entertain the newbies, like Soso. I won't if Soso (or Eric) objects.

I'm sorry that I thought you were Eric. Eric is a gay rights activist who has posted on this board in the past. He and I crossed swords when I publicly defended his sister from some pretty terrible things Eric was saying about her; Eric's father is a client of mine and I recognized the anonymous insults pretty quickly. Eric didn't take kindly my defense of his sister; I don't know why.

Your posting style is nearly identical to his; like repeating posts over and over again; but I acknowledge my probable error.

He's got a lawsuit against a Nazi youth boot camp to which he was required to move when he, as he says, didn't want to attend seminary.

Either way, from your posting history (and in light of recent "death threats" alleged elsewhere), I'm going to have to CFR that any of what you wrote above (quite a lengthy post, by the way) is at all true. Otherwise, like your false accusations against beastie, what you're alleging is probably in the same vein of fiction.

Bob, I'm happy to oblige your request but I'm confused about something. Are you saying you haven't seen the complaint yourself? As the #lawyer who has a #State #Bar #complaint filed against them, wouldn't you have seen it and responded to it? Why don't you just post the text of the complaint yourself? That would certainly be faster. Since your posting during business hours I have to assume you have the day off and want to see a link to the complaint today.

Bob, please don't make it sound like we as critics are one organized cabal such that the actions of one can reflect on all. If you haven't read the myriad threads around DCP's so-called death threats, you should. Many of us critics have decried the use of these tactics, and I believe it would be a small minority of the critics on this board who would agree with them.

IMHO a complaint to the state bar should only be made if the attorney, as part of his or her practice, committed some sort of professional transgression. Opinions spouted off on religious apologetic/anti-apologetic message boards somewhere on the Internets simply don't count.


ps: to foreclose the nitpickers, I will acknowledge that we could all probably imagine or invent scenarios in which things could be said on a board like this that would be relevant to a state bar. I see no need to indulge the nitpickers and overly pendantic types anymore than I already have in so acknowledging, however. Where opinions uttered do not overlap with the practice of law, I think you and I would agree that such tactics are wrong.
