Op! He is NOT!

According to Wikipedia
Jorge Mario Bergoglio was born in Buenos Aires, one of the five children of Italian immigrants Mario José Bergoglio, a railway worker, and his wife Regina María Sívori, a housewife.

The new Pope is an Italian... how-a you-ahh like-a that?

Weren't the Lamanite's immigrants?
(See Book of Mormon for reference)

Once as a TBM, I asked one of my primary kids if she was a Lamanite because I knew her family was from Argentina, and she said she didn't know. I told her to ask her parents and report back to the class. She came back and said, my mom said "No, I'm not a Lamanite." Her family was Italian that went to Argentina for a couple generations and then to America. I felt embarrassed. Now after understanding what a Lamanite is, I feel even more embarrassed.

I wouldn't say his principle ancestors were Lamanites...............

Yeah, asking a real person if she is of a mythical race of people is pretty embarrassing.

Lamanites was both a direct and generic term to describe anyone non-Nephite.
Lamanite is the Book of Mormon's version of the word "Gentile".
Anyone who's "really" Mormon intellectually and morally speaking knows this.

The Title Page did not need to change. It was changed to give less foder to morons like you who cheer with the enemy's of the Faith. Of course, personally still find it unnecessary because a 100 years from now you'll still be belittling the Church on the issue, despite it trying to be MORE CLEAR for you. You'll belittle and misrepresent it still because it had this terminology historically, just as you do for other issues that the church has changed or clarified (well your ideological ancestors and anti-mormon converts and brothers will).

If you mention Laminates to the true Cedars of Lebanon, it will make their sap run cold.
