Mormon apologist are just so stoopid, with an absolute minimal appeal to intelligence, that I rank them with a lower IQ than Mickey Mouse. (Okay, I may be exaggerating).

Ray A wrote: Am I biased? Of course. Because I don't believe the Book of Mormon is historical, and I think those who promote it as such are doing a disservice to the facts we have at hand, especially the glaring anachronisms that even Blind Freddy can see. So I'm not supportive of an apologetic arm that reinforces this idea by only presenting "evidences in favour", and neglecting evidences to the contrary, or rather, "answering" them with faith-boosting apologetics only.

Of course I did. It's all true. Everything you believe is real. It goes from Lucifer, to Doctor Scratch, to me, to the moderators, to the members of this board. It's all because of darkness and evil.

And the world-wide conspiracy of governments covering up the presence of space aliens on our planet? 100% true, just like you told me.

I see that your followers still haven't said a word. They're afraid of your tactics, both you and Scratch, and that if they criticise you they will get "the treatment". However, let all lurkers now see MDB for all that it is, and who is really at the controls here.

Of course they're afraid! They know that if they say anything, I'll get someone I know to look at a confidential database I don't have access to, to see if I can find out their real names!

Hey again, Liz!

Okay!

If I can remember correctly, Ray actually did apologize for posting PM's. it happened several years ago, so I honestly can't remember if Ray apologized to the board, or just to the Mods.

No, there were at least two times when I was logged on (about a year ago and again about a month ago) and there was no apology offered. Instead, finger pointing begins, diversion is put in place, attack mode is employed in full force and ownership isn't even considred....let alone taken!

Look Liz, when we participate on these boards we all make our share of poor choices and post things we wish we hadn't (I am certainly included in this). But should we not at least own these things? It seems to me that a mandatory first step (giant step, in my estimation) in the process of an apology is taking ownership. (This 35 page thread, in my opinion, is littered with severely lacking ownership, thus the result is the utterly bizarre reading that is found within this mind-bending thread)

Yes. But while Dan sometimes exaggerates, embellishes or omits, he seldom makes things up altogether. That's why I think he was probably referring to that PM.

How is that any worse (if it was the intention, which it wasn't) than posting someone's private message against board rules?

I'm okay with the PM staying up (though the person who sent it may not be, I don't know). Just want to know when there'll be more consistency in regard to the board rules (or changing them), and when you stop getting a free pass which others don't have.

Like I said, I wasn't honestly sure if Ray apologized on the main board, or just to the mods. (I was a mod for a while, much to everyone's chagrin).

At any rate, I don't think that Ray has ever failed to own the fact that he posted PM's on the board. I can recall at least one incident where he said he knew he would be suspended for doing it.
