2 Nephi 28:8

And there shall also be many which shall say: Eat, drink, and be merry; nevertheless, fear God—he will justify in committing a little sin; yea, lie a little, take the advantage of one because of his words, dig a fpit for thy neighbor; there is no harm in this; and do all these things, for tomorrow we die; and if it so be that we are guilty, God will beat us with a few stripes, and at last we shall be saved in the kingdom of God.

Who said I"m justifying any misdeeds?

I'm afraid you guys can't see straight.

I think Dan knows he did a despicable thing asking a bishop friend to breach the bounds of the access limit to the Church's leader database. In his heart, he knows he did wrong.

And? What's it to you? Why do you care if Dan did this minor little infraction by asking a question? Seriously, considering the grand efforts to expose in real life information about LDS folks here, why is it a terrible misdeed if Dan asked a question of a friend? Why worth 44 pages and counting?

it seems like the tiniest of infractions compared to what is the norm 'round these parts.

Wow, this is progress. A defender finally admitted that Dan may have committed a "minor little infraction". Not much progress, but progress. A step away from infallibility.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Eh. I'd say it's this thread's equivalent to an inerrantist admitting to a copyist error in the Bible.

So this guy buys a brand new Cadillac, loaded with all the extras and takes it for a drive. He gets pulled over by a group of gang-bangers and by knife, they pull him out of the car. They take him to the side of a country road, take a stick and draw a circle in the dirt. They tell him to get inside and that if he steps outside of the circle they will break every bone in his body.

Then then go back to his shinny new Cadillac and start breaking the windows, smashing the doors in, busting up his new stereo system and slicing the tires.

When they look back at the guy in the circle, he is cracking up with laughter.

They walk over to him and say: "What the hell is so funny, we just trashed your new car, busted your stereo into pieces and flattened all your tires"

The guy replies while still laughing: "Yea, well while you weren't looking, I stepped out of the circle!"

What do you believe you're accomplishing? Do you think that annoying people until they insult you makes you a martyr somehow or that they do it because your a Mormon?

How about you drop the passive agressive trolling act and explain yourself?

PS If you keep up the charade and act like this question is me persecuting you, I'm putting you on ignore.

Given the passive aggressive trolling behavior of stem, who claims here to be a member of the LDS Church, I wonder if Dan is calling upon his bishop friend again to try to determine the real identity of stem, so that Dan can do whatever with the information so that this unChristian behavor of stem, if indeed LDS member, can be ferreted out and corrected, to protect "the Church".

Since you brought it up. I here say, Dan has committed many infractions throughout his life. Each day, in fact, he's done something wrong.

Now no one needs to go on and on about how I see Dan as something other than another human being. I certainly will defend normal humans against outlandish attacks from time to time though.

I notice how no one finds it worthwhile to get after Scratch and company for trying to compromise my personal in real life. Who cares right, folks? I ain't on your team.

Sheesh...not only do you folks forget the reasons for your over-reactions, but in so doing you support the more egregious infractions from your own camp. If that doesn't explain the problem here (hypocrisy) I don't' know what does--hostility? I suppose hostility is what's behind the hypocrisy.

Thanks Ceeboo.

This does fairly closely resemble the activity in this thread, at least in one way.

So trying to get some angry folks back on track as they continually try to make posts about me is a sin in your book?

Gotcha, SP. your self-righteousness knows no bounds--anyone who disagrees with SP is worthy of punishment it seems.
