This statement is a complete falsehood. I've been a conservative almost all my life, lived many different places, wards, families, etc., and I even left the Church because I "thought" it was once racist, so I know what racism is.

Given that white Republicans are the heros, white Democrats are the villains, and blacks are the victims, why do you think some 90% of the black victims politically side with the Democrats rather than with the Republicans who freed them from slavery? Do you think that as a race they are dumb for doing that?

Let's consider the life of a hypothetical racist. This hypothetical racist lives in the deep south, and is a third-generation member of the KKK. Would such a person join the Democratic party with all of the blacks, or would he join the Republican party, that is as white as snow?

I never said that the only reason people become Republicans are because they are racist. I also don't believe the majority of Republicans are racists. But the fact is that when the democratic party - as a party, not completely on an individual level - decided to support the full implementation of civil rights - a natural division occurred. Minorities became more comfortable with the democratic party, and racists became more comfortable with the Republican party.
