The very, very Conservative Republican Poster Bcspace here recently claimed here that Senator Rubio is a RINO. Here is what bcspace recently stated:
After successfully defending the Second Amendment and the future possibility of gun roundups (which have happened historically exposing today's Liberals and Democrats as Regressives), the next thing on our plate is the the sinking of the latest faux immigration bill. Rubio has exposed himself as a RINO.
Is Senator Marco Rubio really a RINO??? While I agree with bcspace with a lot of things, I strongly disagree with his claim here that Senator Rubio is a RINO. Here is very strong evidence that Senator Rubio is Not a RINO:
The Brackite has very effectively demonstrated here that Senator Marco Rubio is Not a RINO, but that Rubio is really a genuine Conservative Republican Senator.

I don't know. Probably not. But as the "tru" Republicans like Bcspace become more and more extreme about maintaining political orthodoxy/bigotry I imagine eventually everyone will be RINOs.

It's a little funny to watch the GOP eat their own. They seem to get a little further from the heart of the nation every week. The recent vote on background checks will definitely bite them in the ass.
Soon the GOP will be just the Tea Party. Moderate Republicans (the smart ones) will have to form their own, new party and start all over. It will take them decades to catch back up.

He's certainly been a RINO on immigration. That has already been demonstrated. He's trying to appeal to the Hispanic vote by sacrificing conservative principles which uphold legal immigration and eschew illegal immigration.

You know I hold you in high regard, bc, despite our numerous differences, but damn, when will you answer my question?
I'm getting that you hope it's not Rubio, but WHO DO YOU THINK THE GOP WILL RUN AGAINST HILLARY?
Any answer will do.

Sometimes I wonder how the immigration system could get any worse. How could legalizing countless immigrants be worse than having them on our welfare/Medicaid rolls already due to our unwillingness to enforce the border?
Mass and illegal immigration seems to be the will of the people in this country to its own destruction. After eight years of democrats the economy really might get bad enough that many will self deport. I'd still support Rubio if he could at least attempt to put a dent in the welfare/disability leviathan that looks to keep the American taxpayer in bondage for centuries to come. Granted importing poverty isn't going to help, but with Hillary you'll get both mass immigration and more domestic welfare to pay for. Working would truly be futile.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Senator Rubio basically had to change his views on comprehensive immigration reform a bit after President Obama won the State that Rubio represents. President Obama won the State of Florida with 50.01% of the vote there. The Following is from Wikipedia:
Obama won the state and its 29 electoral votes on Election Day by a margin of 0.88%, down from the 2.82% margin in 2008. Florida was the closest race in the country at the presidential level. Throughout the night, Obama and Romney exchanged the lead, but the networks avoided calling the state for Obama until November 10 because long lines in the larger urban areas of the state meant that the vote count was delayed.
According to exit polling, Obama won 95% of the African-American vote (13% of voters), 60% of Latino voters (up 3 points from 2008 and 17% of all voters), and 50% among Independents (who accounted for 33% of all voters). Mitt Romney won white voters by 24 percent. In addition, both Democratic and Republican strategists agreed that the President’s ground game and early voting leads played a huge role in such a tight race. Despite laws that curbed early voting, more than 4 million Floridians cast a ballot before Election Day (almost 50% of all voters), and reports showed that Obama was leading by about 104,000 among those voters.
The political geography of Florida is largely divided in thirds: South Florida (around the Miami metropolitan area) is heavily Democratic, North Florida (the Florida Panhandle, and the Jacksonville metropolitan area) is heavily Republican outside of Tallahassee and Gainesville, while Central Florida is a “swing” area of the state, where Democrats have made inroads in recent years.
Mirroring the results of the 2008 presidential election in Florida, Obama dominated South Florida, winning Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties by comfortable margins, and actually increased his vote share in Miami-Dade and Broward counties from 2008. Obama’s gains in South Florida have been attributed to increasing his vote share among Cuban Americans, a large demographic in and around Miami who have reliably voted Republican, from 35% in 2008 to 48% in 2012. Combined with his large margins of victory among non-Cuban Hispanics in the state, Arian Campo-Flores at the Wall Street Journal noted that, “Together, both trends are accelerating a realignment of the state's Latino vote, from once solidly Republican to now reliably Democratic.” [27]

That would mean he's a RINO. He should be fighting back and that can be done successfully in a variety of ways without compromising principles or seeming shrill etc. He could take a page out of Rand Paul's book for example (see the Howard speech). Notice also that Obama's momentum was heavily reversed in the 2012 election.
The time for compromise with the Democrats is over. They owe the American public big time dating back since the Reagan administration on unfulfilled promises on previous compromises. It's time to remind the people of that history and it's time to collect.
Okay, Backite. Can Senator Marco Rubio attend meetings at the Bohemian Grove wearing the traditional goat leggings, horned mask and sip the nectar of Zaitan with his head held either high or semi-erect?
If so, he is a full fledged Republican and does not have to take guff from even more conservative quarters.
Make no mistake, Rubio is better than any Democrat. But if he supports a policy that will likely cement Democrat rule for a generation, why would I pick him over a Republican who doesn't and is just as pure on other issues?
