You can pay taxes, obey the rules and laws of the United States of America, you can leave the country, or you can go to jail.
Here is what will happen:
Church and state will remain separate. Laws, government and society in general will be increasingly secular. Same sex marriage will become legal and not be seen as deviant. The federal government will continue to use taxes for infrastructure, basic research and myriad worthy social programs. Global efforts to overcome real social, political and environmental problems and to reach compromise and consensus will continue. Decades upon decades will pass without any biblical end of days. Though their numbers will dwindle, the far right will become even more like their Islamic counterparts (teaching children propaganda in special schools and seeking to to impose religious rules on everyone etc.)
The haters will keep hating.
You're more of a prophet than the Mormon church ever had.
Whether or not the GOP moves to a more moderate and open stance in the next election cycle is anyone's guess. However, in the next ten years, when a certain percentage of their base has gone to heaven, there's no doubt it will become more moderate and open.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.
Public Policy Polling’s ongoing survey of American attitudes about presidential conspiracy theories continues with a fascinating look at the “birther” and “truther” sympathies of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. One takeaway: While some conservatives have brushed aside criticism of the “birthers” in their based by criticizing 9/11 conspiracy theorists on the left, there are far more conservative “birthers” than liberal “truthers.”
Forty-two percent of Republicans say President Obama was born outside the United States, while only 37 percent say he was born here. Twenty-five percent of Democrats say President George W. Bush let 9/11 happen, while 63 percent say he didn’t. Sixty-two percent of “liberals” say no, as do 62 percent of people who say they voted for Obama. The only element of the Democratic Party’s base with considerable 9/11 “truth” sympathies? African-Americans, only 46 percent of whom rule out a Bush connection.
The actual poll shows that 61% of republicans either believe Obama was born outside the US or aren't sure, and 38% of Democrats believe Bush intentionally allowed 9/11 to happen or aren't sure. So my vote is 61% of the republican party is stooge, while 38% of the democratic party is stooge.
The republican party needs a come to Jesus moment, and weed out some of the tares.

The fascinating thing about this post is it goes to show how really "ignorant" people like Beastie are. He uses something for which there is considerable evidence for to try and claim most republicans are "kooks".
Obama clearly wasn't born here.... (p.s. I wasn't in this crowd until I saw this and other evidences that simply cannot be contested, and unlike 9/11, the kook crowd in that is EASILY contested by facts. Liberals have no facts that contest these.)
And even if he was, he was clearly ineligible to be President. Presidents are required to be born to TWO citizens, not one per the constitution. I've always been in this crowd.

The irony!
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

The constitutional standards are obviously too lax. I won't be satisfied until there's an amendment stipulating that future Presidents be born to three citizens.

2000 years before a mother of Jew only was enough to assign somebody to the throne: Mark 15:2 And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest it.

You can pay taxes, obey the rules and laws of the United States of America, you can leave the country, or you can go to jail.
And you can just go back to your teachers lounge and moan about the fact that even I earn more money than you do.
It figures that you would think human value boils down to how much money one makes.
In fact, I make enough that I don't moan at all. I have everything I want. 2 cars, 10 guitars, 5 bedroom house, a beautiful wife, intelligent and kind friends and a job where I get paid to do the mathematics that interests me.
Now, I reiterate: You can pay taxes, obey the rules and laws of the United States of America, you can leave the country (where would you prefer to be?), or you can go to jail
when believers want to give their claims more weight, they dress these claims up in scientific terms. When believers want to belittle atheism or secular humanism, they call it a "religion". -Beastie

That is a truly interesting idea. Ayn Rand in her philosophy of serving the self with no love for the others, was at least internally consistent by being an atheist, since her atheism did not preclude being self centered as a faith principle.
Best to "come to Jesus" and commit themselves to the good of Mankind.
