Exactly which healthcare "means of production" has the government acquired in healthcare? And when did unionized employees become "the government" and what means of production do these employees own? That the GM ownership was temporary argues against the claim that Obama is acquiring the means of production. Exactly how much of the "green energy" industry does the government own?

In fact, what Obama promotes is EXACTLY what you describe as "social democracy." Only in rightwing clown world is Obama a "socialist." It's BS. You know it. So why the clowning?

I wasn't really thinking of specific countries. I'm talking about the idea of socialism, how it works out in life, and why I hate it.

That's certainly an interesting interpretation of a word that specifically refers to how a government runs its economy (especially with the comparison to "capitalism").
