I'm sure our Founding Fathers would be horrified to discover that some (with a political party as part of their names) were asked to answer additional questions before eventually being allowed to collect tax-exempt, anonymous, unlimited money and spend it on campaign ads under the guise of a charitable organization.

Horrified, I tell you.

Droopy, do you believe it's appropriate for US Border Patrol and TSA agents to use profiling to help decide who to single out for additional scrutiny at security checkpoints?

if yes, do you further believe that it's acceptable for US Border Patrol and TSA agents to profile on the basis of traits which are, in other spheres, legally protected from discrimination?

.....keep in mind i'm not talking about barring an entire class of people from flying or entering the country -- just a little extra inconvenience, some additional delays, but all for the greater good, including for the ultimate benefit of those being profiled. after all, unless someone is a criminal or terrorist they have nothing to fear from the additional scrutiny.
