While you are all debating the inanities of religion with forays into politics I am sitting on a golden beach, sipping coconut water and forro dancing the nights away.
Tonight is an all night forro fest in the nicest little city in the interior of RN, Santana do Serido. Life is good.

Wow! I'd love details and pictures when you're done. If I have to live vicariously, visual aids always help.

Have fun!

There are supposed to be a lot of baby tarpon in the Rio Paraiba just outside of Joao Pessoa. This will be my first tarpon outing. I tied a passel of tarpon flies. I'll post some pics when I have better bandwidth.

Tarpon fishing was great. Landed one of about 15 inches. Missed probably another 15 on the hookset (I am too fast), lost a couple more in the 20+ inch range, broke off one in the 7-8 kg class, and had another this size open up the hook. Took my 7 year old. Let him do most of the fish fighting.
Am thinking of heading out again Tuesday.

(((envy)))!
What fun! It's great that you let the seven year old do the reeling. Another great fisherman in the making!
Please post more details when you can.
