Sorry I missed this, ludwigm. I don't check out Old Testament very often.
Yes, baby was an aubergine (eggplant) last week. I've only made a couple of recipes with eggplants. I have a grilled eggplant sandwich recipe that I like a lot. It's a taste I'm still getting used to though.
One old wives' tale holds that eggplant parmigiana will induce labor. I don't believe it but maybe I will try that recipe come September, just for fun!
