Prior to that, Hunter was a prominent neo-Confederate and pro-secession activist, serving as a chairman in the League of the South, which, according to its website, “advocates the secession and subsequent independence of the Southern States from this forced union and the formation of a Southern republic.”
Many have called the League implicitly racist, but Hunter denied this in an interview with the Free Beacon, and disavowed many of his earlier statements, chalking it up to the naiveté of youth. “I was a young person, it was a fairly radical group — the same way a person on the left might be attracted in college to some left-wing radical groups.” (He said in 2009, when he was in mid-30s, that he still believed much of it — “In fact, I might be getting worse” — and he continued to produce the radio show until 2012, when Paul hired him full time.)
And the worst part for Paul-land is that it’s hardly the first time something like this has come up. In late 2009, Rand Paul’s campaign spokesperson was forced to resign after Kentucky blogger Joe Sonka discovered the MySpace page for Chris Hightower’s heavy metal band, which was a fan of KKK gear and wishing people a “HAPPY N***ER DAY!!!” on Martin Luther King Day (that post was accompanied by a photo of a lynching).

Yes, the paleolibertarian, Lew Rockwell type crowd that Ron and his son Rand Paul are emeshed in has a close association with neoconfederates. Unsurprisingly, the neoconfederate movement is loaded to the gills with racists like this guy. Those associations are one of the cons of the Pauls. Anti-Lincoln sentiment is popular among many, though not all libertarians for a variety of reasons. Among the reasons, some of it is a belief in a right of succession and democratic self-determination, some of it is his horrid civil rights record, and some of is that neoconfederate sympathies. Different people have different reasons. The anti-Lincoln sentiment is extremely strong among the paleo crowd, though.
I've always said that many of those on the extreme right "Libertarians" such as Alex Jones have some Leftist ideology in them. The way they are critical and misrepresent conservatives, just like the left does, etc.

Well, I mentioned the obvious one already. Bearing false witness of others primarily belongs in leftist ideology. Any sort of evil or wrong is "left".

"Left-libertarianism" are ideologies like Noam Chomsky's, which are quite different than the paleolibertarianism that the Pauls hail from.
Anarcho-capitalism and Anarhco-syndicalism have some important commonalities and some significant divergences. So, yes there is such a thing as leftist libertarianism, but that's a quite distinct thing from "radical" libertarians on the right and what this guy specifically is.
The reality is that Ron Paul, and to a somewhat lesser extent, Rand Paul have long-running associations with groups of people who are either outright neoconfederate racists or sympathetic to them. These associations are something to take into consideration when supporting or not supporting them, not so much because there is much evidence that they share those specific opinions, but because their associations might find positions of power within the scope of their offices. That doesn't mean you are voting for doom and gloom racism when you cast a vote for either - voting for Obama's prosecution of the drug war is far, far more damaging to racial minorities than Paul having backing from white nationalists - but it does mean this is part of the package of risks you are likely getting.

My understanding is that "Warez" refers to blatantly breaking copyright law by distributing books, movies, music, etc. without getting permission from or giving compensation to the people who own those works.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has an entire corporate entity (Intellectual Reserve Inc.) with the sole responsibility of defending its copyrighted works. As somebody who received an nasty cease-and-desist letter from a private law firm hired by the Church because I quoted a few pages of their teachings on a website without their permission, I know the Church takes their copyrights very seriously.
Does the Church know what the higher law is regarding copyright infringement?
