He did not "initiate" an altercation, Trayvon did that.
From the known information Trayvon may not have liked being followed, but HE is the one who chose to ATTACK Zimmerman, to jump him while Zimmerman was trying to keep an eye on Trayvon.
If someone is following me, I'm not going to just attack them, I would either face them and ask them what is going on, and/or I would call 911. That's what NORMAL people do.

It's really simple. We would agree Zimmerman should have stayed further back, but we also understand he was simply trying to protect his community and help the police. A fact even the Jury saw and agreed with. But Trayvon is the one, HE IS THE ONE who crossed the line, and assaulted someone, and Zimmerman rightly defended himself from serious harm. Both also FACTS the Jury agreed with.

According to the actual FACTS..... Trayvon JUMPED Zimmerman when he was trying to keep an eye on where he was going. Thus, your claims that Zimmerman "confronted him, and didn't tell Trayvon who he was" is utter bullcrap.
IF it had actually happened that way, Zimmerman would have said who he was, and Trayvon would be alive now. Instead, Trayvon CHOSE to attack Zimmerman out of the blue, and he paid the price for that foolish choice.
