If you can get past the Anthony Weiner pole arising cover art, there is Interesting article in the new New Yorker about a beta tester (known as explorers) for Google Glass.


There is something about Google Glass that creepily evokes the Borg headpiece fitted to Captain Picard to assist with his assimilation:



Anyway, the article made me feel like we're stepping into the world of Neal Stephenson or William Gibson.
