That is, indeed, what I have thought and have said in the past.
However, I have been informed by someone speaking on behalf of the consensus here, that I have been fooling myself and that my MO is to be evasive and dishonest in my responses to others. This post clearly proves it. So, there ya go.

Your probably right. After all, I have a perpetually dishonest MO.

That is only my opinion, Wade. You need to have a thicker skin than that!
However, I still recommend the dancing class! Really, this stuff you are working on is not sexy at all. It is not going to get you any closer to your real dream of marriage. Really!
Do you really think this is helping you at all toward that achievement? This must take a lot of your time that you could put to much better use.
Why, may I ask, do you put so much time into this kind of stuff?

Wade, slightly off topic, what are your views on opposite sex marriage? And on what basis, data, evidences etc are you basing those views?

One last thing: I'm not sure there is value in "budging" from my positions unless there is reason to budge. But you never did show how your claims were supported by your data, so I didn't feel any obligation to change my position.
And you're right: I was criticizing your use of statistics (though, in fairness, the sources you got them from had set things up so that, unless you were paying attention, you'd assume they were correct). I did not mean that to be a personal attack.
You were apparently upset with my use of "Come on, Wade," which was, in retrospect, maybe a bit harsh. My intent was to spur you to back up your claims or explain how the data supported your claims. As far as I can see, that didn't happen. I've explained why the data doesn't work, repeatedly, and you never overcame the basic problem with the data: information that would validate the claims was simply missing. When the necessary information was provided (by me, not by the FRC), the data actually disproved your claims.

Even though this question may not have been on-topic, it caused no small stir, and thus deserves to be entertained.
Since it was asked generically, is it correct to conclude that it also applies to polygamy, polyandry, incest, pedophilia, bestiality, and a host of fetishes?
