Mormons Don't Lie? Ahem, cough, cough!

Mormons lie every time they say:

1. The LDS Church IS true.

a. The LDS church is pure hypocrisy that denies the power of godliness.
b. Failing to teach people to come unto Christ as he commands (and as shown in the Book of Mormon) such that they will get the promise of the Father by the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost make it a lie that they have the gift and power of the Holy Ghost. The proof is that they do not know how to teach people to get it. The proof of this is because they don't teach anyone how to get it and do not advocate it nor require it.

2. That the Prophet IS a prophet. Or that Apostles ARE apostles. Or that any leader has the slightest gift.

a. Without satisfying b. of number one it is impossible for anything of 2. to be true.
b. There is no evidence of spiritual gifts among the Mormons period, proving they do not value nor comprehend real spiritual gifts and further that they willingly trample upon the commandments of Christ in arrogant ignorance.

3. That they are worthy to enter the temple. (Assuming a sacred temple still remains)

a. No man or woman IS worthy unless they have been wrought upon and cleansed by the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost. Since LDS have not only ceased from the accomplishment of the promise of the Father, they never really got it to begin with so all they have done is heap up pride in its place. The only possibility is that they are all filthy still and can only defile the temple and blaspheme God for their effrontery of trucking their unworthy carcasses in. See D&C 112 about this. Okay, I will post the relevant verses:

23 Verily, verily, I say unto you, darkness covereth the earth, and gross darkness the minds of the people, and all flesh has become corrupt before my face.
24 Behold, vengeance cometh speedily upon the inhabitants of the earth, a day of wrath, a day of burning, a day of desolation, of weeping, of mourning, and of lamentation; and as a whirlwind it shall come upon all the face of the earth, saith the Lord.
25 And upon my house shall it begin, and from my house shall it go forth, saith the Lord;
26 First among those among you, saith the Lord, who have professed to know my name and have not known me, and have blasphemed against me in the midst of my house, saith the Lord.

There, that's three witnesses against the LDS gross sin of lying for the sake of an appearance of righteousness where none exists.

Is there not a man in all your whoredoms of Babylon that will take me to task? Of course not. Never has been and never will be.

6 Crying repentance, saying: Save yourselves from this untoward generation, and come forth out of the fire, hating even the garments spotted with the flesh.

Well, let's just see about that. Mormons are the best of the best this world has to offer up for an educated mass of everyotherwise competent folks. How could they be guiltless with the obvious abundance of direct commandment and example in LDS scripture including the Bible?

They lie because they know the commandment would cause them to loose the world and dag nab it, Gentiles seek first and above all else the excellence of worldliness and the gain of it. AMEN.

Or the Evangelicals who are like deer caught in the headlights of the Word? NO! He is hot with anger against those whom he has force fed the truth in spades only to be spurned at his every commandment by a people who have hunted down and viciously persecuted, with extreme hatred, those precious little ones whom the Lord holds in his own hand, whom he has drawn unto repentance, that he might have fruit in its season.

I agree: The answer is 'no'. But the reason is because there aren't any 'Last Days'. This earth will continue to spin and spin and humans will continue to be born, to live, to love and to die for many more millennia, long after christianity has been forgotten.

He is hot with anger against those whom he has force fed the truth in spades only to be spurned at his every commandment by a people who have hunted down and viciously persecuted, with extreme hatred, those precious little ones whom the Lord holds in his own hand, whom he has drawn unto repentance, that he might have fruit in its season.

This all-powerful god of yours is welcome to come down and do that whole 'road-to-Damascus' thing to me and set me back on the right track. What's that you say? I shouldn't ask for a sign? Why does Saul/Paul get one and I don't? Wasn't this god of yours supposed to be 'just'? Why does Alma the Younger get a special invite and I don't? Why does Joseph Smith get to see the face of god, but not me?

Tell ol' elohim, next time you see him, that this doubting Thomas needs him to step up his game just a bit. This whole business of playing favorites doesn't work for me.

The Lord has given a sign to all nations. The Apocalrock. Now you can have faith and work righteousness and get what Christ paid for to change you from your fallen nature to a higher state of existence. Or is it possible that you, unlike Paul, refuse to forsake all for your Lord?

I live in Arizona. I cannot see the Apocalrock from here. Not even a little bit.

But since you are god's one true prophet, I will assume you have more faith than a metric mustard seed, so... perhaps you can schedule a day next week (I am in Georgia for the week, so I'll miss this whole thing if you do it now) when you might temporarily move the Apocalrock from where-ever-the-hell it is near Salt Lake, to where I can see it. There is a big area east of Mesa and South of Apache Junction without much of importance. Plop that thing down there and let me start seeing this 'sign unto all nations'. Once I've converted, you can muster up another mustard-seed-worth of faith and put it back where it came from.

I know I sound sarcastic and rude. But doesn't the theology you claim to believe explicitly state that these things are well within your power? So do them. Go on. You will have followers by the millions. How great shall be your joy, and all that.

Thomas, you may want to be reminded of the stories of Cain and Able and Laman and Lemuel. Both had signs from God and rebelled anyway. Here is some nice reading material:
