The story of Noah is true!

Post by _GR33N »

A global flood did occur and this may be where some of the water came from.

Am I missing something? How is this related to a global flood?

Great, now you only need an additional twice as much water as claimed in that article and you can start to come up with sufficient volume.

As long as you are willingly gullible..... I am selling prime land in sunny Florida.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

All you have to do is open your mind to the laws of physics, or are you going to pull out the magic card? Even if God can use magic and pull out enough water to cover the whole earth why did all the animals including humans and plants not disappear? Why did it leave no trace?

I think many of those would tell you the land was pretty flat in those days.

genesis 7:11

That would be an excellent metaphor for those who accept a global flood (not me). I suggested it in my News forum thread on this subject on the MDDB.

So you are going with the magic card. So can you answer why all humans, animals and plants did not disappear? Can you answer why there is no trace of a global flood? Did God also snap his finger to hide all the evidence and bring back everything?

That just indicates how ignorant they are of science and the facts that show this is not true.

I generally agree except you can't preclude God (which you call 'magic'). However, I don't think it likely God would necessarily create and do things and then hide the evidence by providing evidence of another method. That would seem to be precluded by D&C 88's injunction to study and learn all things about the earth and the universe. Hence, I accept evolution and a local flood.

It really WILL take a scientifically inclined believer to mend the damage done to science by Bill Nye and Neil DeGrasse Tyson. You enhance this damage by referring to God as 'magic'.

You may as well have just said magic with the BS you just spewed out. God will hide the evidence? You describe a deceiver God. This is the kind of BS which we call magic. You can make up what ever you want when it doesn't fit what you want to believe. It's this kind of BS that you have no credibility on these issues.

by the way I didn't call God magic, I called how people want to avoid the facts God using magic to hide or change it just like you tried to suggest.
