True enough. And, I don't think I said otherwise.
Oh I know, I was just saying that when it comes down to taking one person's word over another's, the "who has an ax to grind?" question shouldn't really be asked because as far as I can tell, they all have one of those. It is disturbing, though, that someone has to be lying in this situation.
Yes, he probably hasn't. That said, Bill Hamblin was the person who misrepresented the Kofford Books panel on the relevance on scripture. That was the most recent source of disagreement between David and Bill. And, in my view Bill is clearly at fault.
Oh, no doubt about that. But we've come to expect that kind of thing from the DCP/Hamblin duo. Did we expect this from Team Kofford?
Well, we don't know that Blair called them all cowards.
True enough. However, one of the other Kofford Musketeers, Loyd Ericson, most certainly did.
According to Kramer, Blair called DCP a coward for not answering his query about the Kirk Caudle post forthrightly
Yes, and this will probably come down to a "he said/he said" situation, which really misses the point as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't really make much of a difference to me how many people he called a coward.
As for Bokovoy's post on Muhlstein, I applaud it. I think it's great.
As do I, however I think David needs to be careful because I'm fairly certain Ritner would consider David's scholarship every bit the "apologetic" variety that David categorizes Muhlstein's.
Agreed, to a point. I am not sure that DCP and Hamblin's reports of Blair making a scene are accurate. Frankly, I don't trust either one of them. If they say someone else made a scene, my first impulse would be to question their accuracy. I have so infrequently agreed with their assessment of anything.
Well, I don't trust any of them, except for Bokovoy and Hauglid.
