Your correct about van Inwagen's argument respecting a very strong principle of sufficient reason. Although I don't even accept that completely, but your indeed supported but enough philosophers in that respect. But it is well understood that weaker forms of the psr evade the deterministic argument van Inwagen makes. I am confused as to why to insist it is a complete defeater and the discussion is simply closed?
